With an appreciative
crowd of press and influential industry members, including representatives
from Harrods and Toni and Guy, Georgina Harley-Smith's show
was full of upbeat energy. This extended to the clothes, which
played on urban, sporty themes.
Racer-back styles in jersey appeared throughout, in clean colourways
of red and cream. An emphasis on shoulders - in the form of
padding and crunchy volume - gave an added 80s feel.
A highlight of the collection was a vivid blue coat, worn with
thick black tights with leather panels. Smith played with proportion,
styling her statuesque models in navel-grazing crop tops and
tight trousers and skirts. |
